Guests at home~

As it was our last week in Wildwoods, we decided to invite our foreign friends over for dinner... After 2 mths of training, guess my cooking is good enough to invite ppl over hor? hees =P

Dinner - 10th Jul

Okays, its time to invite our beloved ecuadorians over for dinner. The other time i didn't ask Renato over for lunch and he was so sad... Kept telling me how hurt he was.. aww... So I had to cook for him before we left, if not he will always remember that Zen didn invite him over for lunch. Can't leave bad memories behind...

This time it was simple... just fried rice.

Renato: mmm... its good! better than Panda!

Pedro: (tumbs up sign) din say anything else... guess he was too hungry?

Pato: nice nice! (hugs)

Of cos its good lar! its the one thing i mastered over the last two months k. and of cos they never tried my first few failures (jus ask our dear lifeguards and my dear ting and qian)... if not they won't be saying this... haha

Kisses for the chef~ That's the reward i get. hehe... and a look at my fired rice... not too bad rite? =)

Time to try more exotic Singaporean food - Kaya toast... Conclusion: Ecuadorians can come and stay in Sinagpore, cos they can accept our food. Look at them enjoying the toast~

Lunch - 5th Jul

The food is ready! My proud creations for the day: sausage and ham in pasta sauce, cabbage with chicken and potato soup~ Hope it tastes good...

Well, our guests seem to be enjoying themselves ehs? Here's their comments:

Anastas: (stares at the food) Erm... how do i eat this? and why is the rice plain?

Guess it was kinda a cultural shock to him that chinese eat from common plates and that we eat plain rice? haha... After some explainations...

Anastas: yes, its good!

On the other hand, it was apparently not Pato's first time eating chinese... so not much cultural shock there....

Pato: mmmm... nice nice~

then again, everything is nice nice to him... so maybe they are just being poliet? hahas...

The usual routine... I cook, Ting and Qian wash. Sighs, kinda miss those days... now at home, mummy does the cooking, i do the washing. Blehs
