it's independence day!

look at the crowd! the americans are out to celebrate 4th of july!

but just when we thought the pier will get really busy, rain poured...

and the pier had to close and thus everybody disappeared. haha~

we began slacking and taking bo liao photos while on standby till the rain goes away and the pier reopens. but we never really reopen. wahahaha~

i've always thought americans are very patriotic people, but the "it's our nation's birthday!" atmosphere on 4th of july was not strong at all leh. the only 4th of july thingy i saw was a teddy bear wearing the american flag. okay mayb it's just morey's piers...

because the restaurant we frequent was decorated with american flags that day, completed with american uncle in american flag. haha~
us at tony's for our usual wing's night. we knocked off early due to the rain and decided to visit tony's, since there's not much time left to go there already. =(

okay in this respect, the americans won. just the little town/city that im at had fireworks display every night over the independence day weekend.

and the above fireworks display at our pier on 4th of july lasted >15min. so pretty! bet they put in millions into it man. took videos of it but had difficulty uploading though. hehz~

anyways, that's 4th of july for us. not very happening, but still, we had a feel of roughly how americans celebrate their nation's birthday.
