Casino Day @ Atlantic City

This time, we went to AC with the aim of visiting the casinos~ BUT as fate will have it, the casinos were closed!! wth rite?? There was some disputes btw the casinos and the state so yar, they had to close while the parites sort out their differences... guess this is wad u get for not watching the news?? blehs

Lunch @ Applebee's

Hoho, the food is GOOD!! this is to make up for our disappointing trip to the casinos...

Our food.... Take 2 (Applebee's house sirloin and honey-grilled salmon) plus chicken salad... nice nice~

This time we finally went into the Casinos... hohoho... but we din play though. see see only, no $$ lar... hees

Inside, there are tons of slot machines!! omg~ every casino is more or less the same... hehe so din take many pictures inside... but outside... many many!!!

Bally'sTrump Taj Mahal

Who can forget the famous Taj Mahal?? looks really grand rite?

Lunch @ Ruby Tuesday

Hoho, another sumptuous meal... Triple play (chicken, ribs and shrimps) and New orleans seafood (tilapia and shrimps)... Yummy~

The salad bar here is really good... free flow and the variety is fantastic!! Value for money sia =P

The Boardwalk

Atlantic city has a boardwalk jus like wildwoods!! hehe but theirs is more high class lar...

Some stuff they have on the boardwalk and the beach...

Morey's has "watch the tram car pls" and they have... manual carts!! reminds me of the rickshaws we had in olden days.

And they have an amusement park too!! Its called Steel Piers. Some of the rides are similar to Morey's but, Morey's is still much better lar... so in this area, we win~ hohoho

OMG~ this is the most amazing shop i've ever seen!! its like candy land lor...Kids will go crazy inside sia... the candy comes in all shapes and sizes lar. here's a little peak of some stuff they have...

See, there is even candy underwear!!! and check out the selection of Hershey's and M&Ms stuff!! OMG~

I love the elephant the most cos it is made out of 1,050,493 jelly beans!!! Impressive rite?

We have been to AC like 4 times within 2 mths?? Omg~ and its not say very near lar... 1hr plus bus ride lor!! i dun even go to Orchard that many times... sheesh~

Philadelphia~

Finally we are going to Phili~ After hearing soo much from our friends, we were really looking forward to this trip....

Last min advice frm Shaun... Actually his main motive is to get a lift to the bank!! blehs =P

The drive to Phili was almost 2 hrs... Since i cannot sleep, i took more photos~ haha

Reaching at around 1pm, we took like 1 hr to find parking lar!! wasted so much time... see how expensive parking is in the States? $3 for 30 mins leh!! (and this is one of the cheaper ones) so ppl, dun complain that parking is expensive in Singapore!! =)

Finally found a not too expensive place to park...

First stop: Visitor center - to get tickets forthe Independence hall tour.. see we even met a man playing some instrument which i dunno wad its called... haha, but its nice nice~

US Mint

Off to the US mint!! Gotta rush sia.. cos it closes at 3pm... but in the end, not all of us made it though... sighs... so this is what they did while waiting for us....

No pictures inside the mint so yar... Its really similar to BEP in Washington, cept of cos this one makes the coins and BEP the notes. Jus gotta walk through the whole process of coin making.... hoho.. exciting sia... so much money $$

Paper Making

We made our own paper... interesting rite? but kinda similar to wad we did in primary sch

• Step 1: Stir the pulp.. (sry no photo)
• Step 2: Use hand and spread pulp in the stencil provided
• Step 3: Soak up excess water with sponge
• Step 4: Press to remove any remaining water
• Step 5: Done!!

Liberty Bell

Gotta say that we expected the bell to be much bigger lar... but oh well... its still amazing how that crack can go right through that think layer of metal! reminds me of the other time the glass cracked during our KTV session. hoho...

Independence Hall

The birthplace of the United States... Most historic place in the entire states sia... so how can we miss it? hees

Last stop: Phili Cheesesteak!! How can anyone miss out the famous Phili Cheesesteak when in Phili?? hoho... Whiz without, yum yum~

Yups, so though we din spend much time in Phili, gotta say we covered quite some ground in such little time ehs? There are still many other places to see, but i would say Washington is still better. hehe =)
