Rio Grande~

After a horrible horrible weekend, we decided to go shopping like FINALLY!! with the hope of not blowing our pay checks, we headed down to Rio Grande. First stop was to JC Penny. And guess wad? the 3 of us bought 9 underwears and I even stripped the mannequin!! ultimate rite? Next stop, lunch time!!

Chinese food at No. 1!!! (tt mess of onions has beef underneath lar) Its not too bad, better than Panda or Dragon House and it tastes similar to those in SIN!! Home-cooked food!! I miss my mum's cooking!! *sobs*

We were like gobbling down the food, and this is wad was left after 30 mins of "war". See the satisfied looks on our face? hoho... Btw, Dr Pepper tastes like cough syrup (though qian thinks its ok), so pls do NOT try it!! hahas. After lunch came the REAL shopping at Ross...

After 4 WHOLE hrs at Ross, it was time to do grocery shopping, which was the main reason of going to Rio in the first place. See how well girls can divert their attention? haha...

OMG~ Stop & Shop is so freaking BIG!! they even need a map?! haha... and we were so amused. Felt so suaku... Look at the can food selection, there is nothing else other than baked beans and more baked beans!! miss my shop sia...

Some amusing finds... Memorial day cookies and 'blackeye peas'. pun intended? hahaha... And a Elmo cake!! So cute rite? Reminds me of 'tickle-me Elmo club'. hohoho...

And the check-out counter is damn cool!! It's self check out. Gotta scan and pack the stuffs ourselves... reminds me of working at my shop.. Except we are not so high-tech to have scanners yet lar... hees =)

And this is the amount of stuff the three of us bought... The most we ever spent on groceries!! and we had to carry all this frm the bloody terminal home! 20 min walk sia!! Training for our arms..

Dinner time!! At Wendy's.. hoho oishi!! finally got to try some fast-food other than 99cents pizzas~ Ting's burger tasted like KFC's Zinger. Mine was Subway-ish and Qian's was very... american.. haha... The potato was kinda tasteless but i liked it. haha tt's cos i love potatoes =p

While waiting for the bus home, we decided to buy Dunkin Doughnuts for breakfast! Cannot find our Krispy Kreme so finally decided to settle for the substitute... Where is KK sia?!?! Its suppose to be EVERYWHERE in the States!!!

Qian's... The spiderman shirt is damn outstanding rite? but it's for her bro lar...

Mine... I spent the most money lar!! Bought so much green sia... And i'm suppose to hate green?!?! Oh no.. the american air is catching on to me liao... hahaha
