fifth avenue!
brands galore!
apple centre, bvlgari (under renovation), kenneth cole new york, niketown, takashimaya (yes taka), trump tower, etc etc. woah wow woo~
such a coincidence how the lady taking a puff by the signboard really completes the whole playboy image. haha~
i want i want, i want the little blue box! lovely, lovely jewelry~
tiffany prices in fifth avenue is roughly the same as sg by the way, that's what ting told me.
saks fifth avenue! it's a department store selling higher-end apparels i think, we didnt go in though.
oh but i did dream of being in the store, literally dreamt. i dreamt that i was back in US years later with my mum and zen, and we bumped into our darling ecuadorians there. my goodness. LoL~
i was watching an old season of FRIENDS, and rachel was working here..
bloomingdales! famous for their brown bag!
it comes in 3 sizes i think. the medium size will have "medium brown bag" printed on it, and so on. very interesting~
this place is extremely cool..
4 storeys abercrombie & fitch! located right opposite trump tower, it has a club deco. dim lights, club music, gorgeous people roaming around in exquisite apparels.
all the AF salespersons in the shop are beautifully gorgeous. probably that's the reason for their somewhat exorbitant pricing, they need to pay exorbitantly high "marketing fees" to their model-cum-salespersons.
anyways, i had a great time ogling at them. none of us spent in this AF store, too busy eyeing the gorgeous to look at their merchandise. hehe~
next, welcome to the world of disney!
we spent quite a long time frolicking inside this store, taking photos with the adorable disney toons and marvelling at all the lovable merchandise they have inside.
ting and pam bought disney charm bracelets and merry bought a donald plushie from there, cute~
after that the three of us parted with pam & co and went for dinner at red lobster!
this restaurant was highly recommended by the greg and polar bear, they praised their food to the skies man. so of cuz we must give it a try! hee~
ordered lobster pizza, lobster roll and lobster pasta set dinner. sounds expensive? u'll be surprised, these dishes are available a very affordable price. we didnt order the pricey dishes lahz.
i feel the lobster pizza was so-so only and the lobster roll was more spicy than tasty. the best dish was the lobster pasta, especially the biscuits (they called it biscuits though it tasted more like bread) served as appetiser!
okay it's ironic if i say that the most delicious food in red lobster is their appetiser biscuits, but the biscuits (pointed by arrow above) were reallyyyyyyyyy divine!~ haha~
see how much we were enjoying the wonderful pasta? hehe~
polar bear said the seafood platter - ultimate feast was the best, but we didnt try. lobster tail, snow crab, shrimps.. awwwww.. next time, next time~
(gen this is for u!) cold stone creamery as THE after-dinner dessert place!
if u havent heard, cold stone is really famous for their ice cream. they blend the mix-in toppings into the ice cream on a cold stone, and hence the name.
see i told u they're famous, just look at the queue! we went there twice throughout our stay, and the queue was always that long.
i tried the cold stone in brisbane last year, it was really gd. new york cold stone was a little different, the ice cream was softer. but both are nice nice~~
take a look at how a cold stone ice cream is made! we ordered paradise found - white chocolate ice cream with coconut, pineapple and banana. very exotic but very yummy! mmmmmmm~~~
the cold-stoners were so full of vibrance, it felt delightful to be in the shop. they'll sing (more like cheer though) every now and then, probably to entertain customers in the long long queue.
u can hear them sing/cheer abit in the video. it's like walmart with their walmart cheer, quite an enthralling experience.
and that concludes our day 5 on a delectable note!~
